It's likely to twist the lines into a recoverable position. However, it would take more strength than any human is capable of to untwist those lines with their hands and arms while in flight. That's what it looks like this guy tried. They can be untangled or controlled with the right maneuvers using the brake lines. The chutes often don't fully collapse which is nice for extending the fall time to your assured death if you don't know what you're doing and don't have a reserve chute. Giving you more time to wish you hadn't fucked around by banking at stupid angles for absolutely no fucking reason in the world. He did it to himself by being an idiot. And now he's dead, allegedly. It looks like a fatal impact to me and that's what the information on the video read. Either way, it would be one scary situation loaded with more regret than most people ever experience. At least that's what I'm guessing. He didn't tell us his thoughts. He just screamed a lot. And died while flashing his moose knuckle. How fucking embarrassing can a death get?
