A nurse identified as Giselly Thais Caçandro de Souza was murdered with nine shots on Saturday night (25) in Conceição do Castelo, in the mountainous region of the state. According to the Civil Police, the crime took place in the square in the Nicolau de Vargas neighborhood.

Giselly was rescued and taken to the Nossa Senhora da Penha Municipal Hospital, in the city itself, but she did not resist the injuries after the first visits. A video surveillance camera from a commercial establishment recorded the moments of the crime, around 6:40 pm

In the images, a man comes running, chasing the nurse. She falls and he fires at her. Another man appears trying to defend Giselly and according to witnesses, he was not hit because the ammunition had run out.
Military police detained the suspect, who lives in a workshop close to the crime scene. With it was found a 380-caliber pistol with a magazine containing 11 intact ammunition.

The man told the military that inside the residence, in a drawer in his bedroom, there was a certain amount of 380 and 22 caliber ammunition. three 22 gauge.

The Civil Police did not provide the suspect's name. He said that he was booked in flagrante delicto for femicide, being sent to the Viana Triage Center (CTV).
