On Tuesday night (25), an employee was the victim of a gunshot during a robbery at a market in the city of Cruzeiro. The crime was committed by four hooded and armed men on Rua São Paulo, in the Jardim São José neighborhood.

During the attack, both customers and employees were held hostage by criminals while they robbed the establishment. During the robbery, one of the robbers fired a shot that hit the leg of a cashier.

The injured employee was rescued by firefighters and taken consciously to the Municipal Hospital, where she remains hospitalized. According to the incident report, despite the scare, she is not at risk of death. Civil Police are investigating the case to identify and capture those responsible for the robbery.

The former police officer was sentenced to more than two decades in prison for the murder of Mércia Nakashima, his ex-girlfriend, in 2010.

After having the request denied on a provisional basis, which was confirmed in a trial this Monday (24), Mizael's lawyers sought reconsideration of the decision.

Mizael's defense pleads for the progression to the open regime since January, arguing that he has an “exemplary behavior in prison” and presents a favorable opinion from several professionals who evaluated him, including social workers, a psychologist and a psychiatrist.

Throughout the process, the Public Ministry (MP) requested that Bispo perform the Rorschach Test, used to investigate personality traits and emotional functioning of an individual.

The defense contested the application of the exam, filing a habeas corpus requesting the progression to the open regime, as well as the waiver of the test. This request was also initially refused, but the defense sought a reassessment of the decision.
