Newham: Two teenage boys stabbed near sixth form college

Two teenage boys have been stabbed near a sixth form college in east London, the Met Police has said.

The boys, both aged in their mid-teens, were found at Prince Regent Lane near Newham Sixth Form College after police were called at 13:56 BST on Monday.

One of the boys sustained a stab injury to his upper arm and another with a cut to his face.

Neither injury is life threatening or changing, a Met spokesperson said, but both were taken to hospital.

A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesperson said "multiple resources" were sent to the scene, including three ambulance crews, fast responders and an air ambulance.

The boys were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital "as a priority", the spokesperson added.

Newham College: Boy knifed in the face in double stabbing as armed cops swoop near NewVIc school

ARMED cops swooped on an East London college today after two boys were stabbed.

One was knifed in his upper arm and another slashed in his face during the attack near Newham Sixth Form College.

Pictures on social media showed a heavy police presence and witnesses reported seeing an air ambulance land nearby shortly after 2pm.

The injuries to the pair, both in their mid-teens, are not life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made and a crime scene is in place on Prince Regent Lane.

One witness told The Sun they had seen around "50 college kids" fighting and shouting in the street before all hell broke lose.

They added: "The first one got stabbed outside the college and then the second stabbing was up the road by our house.

“He got slashed in the face but then we saw him walking in the ambulance so we thought he was OK.

“But even when the police came they were still fighting. They were around the first victim when the second victim got stabbed and suddenly all the police rushed up the road to that.

“They fight out on the street every lunchtime. It’s been going on for months but it’s getting worse. The police have been here every day this week.
