A man, identified only as "Anjinho", suspected of a series of robberies in the Coroado neighborhood, east of Manaus, ended up going through the "Court of Crime" and had his hand cut off with a machete.

According to the Amazonas Military Police (PM-AM), there are several police reports (bo) registered in the suspect's name. The identity of "Anjinho" was not revealed by the PM.

The police said that several people had reported that the man had committed several robberies in the region, breaking into residents' houses, sometimes even robbing them in the street with a gun.

A video circulating on social media shows the moment when 'Anjinho' has his hand cut off by the "Court of Crime". The information indicates that the criminals' session took place in a wooded area of the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam).

After having his limb torn off, the suspect was handed over to the police who took him to hospital. After receiving medical attention, "Anjinho" was presented at the 14th Integrated Police District (DIP).

He must answer for robberies and the police will investigate who the criminals were who cut off the man's hand.
