A motorcyclist lost her life hours after being hospitalized after being hit by a minibus that dragged her 15 meters.
The unfortunate events occurred on Friday afternoon on Rosalío Bustamante Avenue between Melchor Ocampo and Nicolás Bravo in the Tolteca neighborhood, where the woman on a blue scooter crossed the road and was hit and dragged by the Tampico Fovissste route minibus.
The woman, about 30 years old, suffered an exposed fracture in her right leg and another fracture in her right arm.
According to testimonies, the minibus dragged her approximately 15 meters until the motorcycle ended up under the truck and the woman under a parked pickup truck.
She was treated by Sinarem brigadistas and Red Cross paramedics and later transferred to IMSS Hospital No. 6.
The area of the accident was cordoned off by Transit agents, requesting the presence of personnel from the Attorney General's Office to take knowledge of the accident.
Hours later, it was reported that the woman unfortunately lost her life after being operated on by the doctors.
