A young motorcyclist was tragically killed when he was riding on Caracas Avenue and 74th Street South, in a north-south direction, in Santa Librada, this Tuesday morning. According to preliminary information, the motorcyclist died after colliding with a bus stop in the area.
The Bogota Transit X account reported that the accident occurred around 6:19 a.m., which led to the immediate alert to the authorities so that they could go to the place and start the corresponding investigation, as well as the due removal of the body.
The road remained closed for approximately 2 hours, so alternate routes were suggested towards Diagonal 68A south in a westerly direction.
