Joya de los Sachas, Ecuador

At noon on April 3 it was once again stained with blood in the province of Orellana. A new armed attack was carried out in Joya de los Sachas, around 1:00 p.m., according to preliminary information.

A group of armed individuals arrived at a local bar and began shooting. The event was even recorded by residents who were alarmed by the noise generated by the firearms.

Based on how the footage was released, the shooting lasted approximately one minute. After that, the news was reported to the Police.

At the same time, the people surrounding the attacked bar arrived to help those affected. An injured young man was lying in the street crying for help. Inside, however, the panorama was much more distressing.

Four men were lying lifeless inside the business, according to police. They had all been shot in different parts of their bodies. For now, the identities of the victims have not been detailed.

This case is recorded a month after another massacre that occurred in that same canton. On February 28 of this year, seven individuals were shot and their bodies were abandoned in the back of a truck.
