Manaus – An unidentified man was brutally shot dead in the early hours of this Sunday (28), at the entrance to Condomínio Vida Nova, in the Lagoa Azul neighborhood, in the north of Manaus. According to police information, the victim, who appeared to be around 25 years old, was on the street when he was surprised by armed men who shot him several times. According to preliminary investigations, the young man had no chance to defend himself and was shot approximately 11 times. After the execution, the criminals fled the scene without leaving any traces.

The Military Police were called and isolated the crime area. Experts from the Technical-Scientific Police Department (DPTC) carried out the investigation at the scene and confirmed the number of detonated capsules. The victim's body was removed by the Legal Medical Institute (IML). The police have not yet released information about the possible motivation for the crime and are still searching for the perpetrators. The case will be investigated by the Specialized Homicide and Kidnapping Police Station (DEHS).
