On the afternoon of this Thursday, May 30, a man was murdered outside the Mall del Indio, on Avenida Las Palmas, in Medellín .

According to the information that has emerged so far, those responsible for the murder shot him and fled on a motorcycle.

The authorities are already at the scene removing the body and are expected to reveal details about what happened in the next few hours.

General (r) Pablo Ferney Ruiz, operational undersecretary of the Medellín Security Secretariat, was at the scene and reported that the person who was murdered was waiting to meet another person at the business premises.

The official added that at this time the judicial police were carrying out the respective fences, investigating the possible motives for the incident and analyzing the evidence to capture the murderers as soon as possible.

So far this year, 130 homicides have been committed in Medellín. With this it would be 131 .
