A sudden flood in the Mutatá River, located in Urabá Antioquia, caused 7 people to be swept away by the current on June 3.

The events occurred in the Puentiadero sector, which is considered a tourist site by visitors; but the heavy rains caused the water to reach these people suddenly.

After an intense search by the Mutatá Firefighters and volunteers from the sector, on the afternoon of June 5 they confirmed that the lifeless body of the woman identified as Vanessa Pérez was recovered, which is already in the hands of the authorities to carry out the proper process. And they continue looking for her son and the two fishermen who are not natives of this municipality.

“We are in a rainy season and we have been emphatic that this generates some difficulties as long as we are close to the shore, and that is why we have said that please do not hold events or recreational events near these sites ,” said Carlos Ríos. , director of Dagran.
