A 44-year-old woman died after getting into a physical fight with her ex-husband, 43, at a snack bar in Jardim Estela, Poá. She entered the establishment armed and tried to kill her ex-husband, but ended up being shot during the fight and did not survive her injuries.

According to the São Paulo Public Security Department (SSP-SP), the incident occurred on the 9th of this month. However, images from the snack bar's security cameras were shared on social media and went viral in the region.

The fight was reportedly caused by a disagreement about the couple's financial situation, according to a local news portal. She went to the location and, in the video, it is possible to see her shooting her ex-husband several times. He reacts and the two begin to fight.

The fight, which began in the kitchen of the diner, spread through the establishment to Lucas Nogueira Garcez Avenue, where the diner is located. There, the man ends up shooting the attacker at point-blank range.

The two received medical attention and were taken to the hospital, but the woman did not survive her injuries and the man was hospitalized.

The weapon was seized and the case was registered at the Itaquaquecetuba Police Station as suspicious death, attempted murder and death report. The investigation is ongoing.
